Photos from our trip around the Cabot Trail
Jess and I went on a camping trip to Cape Breton last weekend. We camped in Antigonish, the first night, on the way there, and at Broad cove near Ingonish for 2 nights while there. Then on Monday we drove around the rest of the cabot trail and back home again.
Despite some rain on Saturday, just as we were heading out for a bike ride, we had a fantastic time.

Some pictures from the drive to Cape Breton, Jess was bowling in the Candlepin Ladies Provincial tournament. She kicked butt in the tournament, 2nd place in averages, High Single for the tournament, and High double for the tournament.

Ottawa pictures
In Ottawa for a course this week. Went for a walk and took some pictures tonight.

Galleries look a bit different because I fogot to copy my custom gallery config to my laptop, I'll make some changes when I get back home again.

Summer Fun
Jess and I have been having a bunch of fun this summer, going to the beach, where I get to skimboard, while Jess takes pictures of me. I bought a stunt kite this summer, so I have been flying that when I get a chance. We have also gone camping a couple of times, and have had a lot of fun.

Sunset at Port George
Went for a drive up the Valley last weekend, and Jess and I ended up going to Port George as it was close to sunset. We sat on the rocks and I took a bunch of pictures, I think some of them turned out looking pretty good.

Chilly Willy Surf Contest
Some new pictures up of some surfing. I didn't take many pictures, I wasn't dressed well for the weather, the wind chill standing on the beach was nasty.

I went for a drive today, took some pics of the new, almost finished concrete skatepark in New Minas, looks like it will be fun and flowy. Pics Here...
I also went for a drive out to Halls Harbour, the tide was quite high, so I got some good shots of some waves breaking against some rocks. You can see Cape Split in the background too. Pics...

Some pics of the fall leaves
I went out one day a couple of weeks ago and shot some pics of the fall leaves. The day was a bit overcast, so the colours don't "pop" but it is pretty typical for around here. I was rewarded with quite a spectacular sunset on the way home though.

Fireworks!
It has been a while since I posted anything on here, or posted any new photos. I tried taking some pictures of the annual Sam Slick Days fireworks display. The pics turned out ok considering it was my first attempt. You can see them here...
